Seven companies have submitted the technical bids for the development of 1,000 MW grid-connected solar PV plants under Phase II in the state of Maharashtra. These include Avaada Power Private Limited (500 MW), Adani Group (500 MW), ACME Solar (300 MW), ReNew Power Limited (300 MW), Tata Power Company Limited (150 MW), Juniper Green Energy Private Limited (100 MW) and Shiv Solar (50 MW). With this, the tender issued by the Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Limited has been oversubscribed with an aggregate capacity of 900 MW.
