Gujarat Alkalies and Chemicals Limited (GACL) has placed an order with Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL) has received an order from Gujarat Alkalies and Chemicals Limited to set up a 15 MW solar plant at Charanka in Gujarat on an engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) basis. This is BHEL’s first ground-mounted solar photovoltaic (PV) project in Gujarat. The company is currently developing over 180 MW of ground-mounted and rooftop solar PV projects across the country.
National Aluminium Company Limited has tendered a 50 MW solar project to be developed in any solar rich state of India. The project will be developed on an EPC basis The successful bidder has to provide O&M services for a 10-year period, including free O&M for the first year after commissioning. The last date for bid submission is August 22, 2017.
