Manipur is planning to develop a 50 MW solar park. The project is likely to cost between Rs 2.5 billion and Rs 3 billion. NHPC Limited is expected to develop the project. The Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI), NHPC, Manipur State Power Distribution Company and Manipur Renewable Energy Development are the nodal agencies for the planning and development of the plant.
