Juniper secures Rs 20.39 billion debt financing for renewable energy projects 

Juniper Green Energy Limited (Juniper) has secured Rs 20.39 billion in debt financing from global and national financial institutions such as the National Bank for Financing Infrastructure and Development (NaBFID), HSBC, DBS, Barclays, and Aseem Infrastructure Finance Limited (AIFL). The funds will be used to support the development and expansion of the company’s upcoming renewable energy projects. Additionally, Juniper Green Energy expanded its non-fund-based credit limits with Federal Bank and Axis Bank.

Furthermore, from the overall debt financing raised, NaBFID extended Rs 5.66 billion to support Juniper’s under-construction Juniper Green Kite Wind Power Project with a capacity of 90 MW in Gujarat. HSBC Bank provided Rs 4.08 billion for the company’s under-construction 75 MW Juniper Green Beam Eight solar wind hybrid power project in Maharashtra. In addition, DBS Bank India and Barclays sanctioned Rs 3 billion and Rs 2.5 billion, respectively, as medium-term debt with a three-year tenor to meet the capital expenditure needs of multiple under-construction renewable energy projects. Moreover, AIFL provided long-term debt financing of Rs 5.15 billion to support the company’s 75 MW Juniper Green ETA Five solar wind hybrid power project, which is currently under-construction in Maharashtra.

Earlier in December 2025, Juniper, through its subsidiary Juniper Green Cosmic Private Limited, commissioned 60 MWh part capacity of its 100 MWh merchant battery energy storage system project at Bikaner in Rajasthan.
