Bluebird Solar launches n-type TOPCon dual-glass solar module

Bluebird Solar has introduced its n-type TOPCon solar panels. The 600W n-type TOPCon dual-glass bifacial solar module has a power conversion efficiency of 23.25 per cent and a bifaciality factor of 70±5. It utilises a 16-busbar design, which reduces resistive losses and increases power generation. The use of cylindrical tabbing wires and anti-reflective coatings on the glass increases sunlight absorption, increasing the energy output. The module’s short-circuit current is 13.76 A and its open circuit voltage is 53.29 V under standard test circumstances. As temperatures rise, the lower temperature coefficient of solar panels reduces the power loss. This allows TOPCon panels to perform better in hot climates by maintaining a higher energy output at higher temperatures. The modules are engineered to function with a maximum system voltage of 1,500 V and their operating temperature spans from -40 °C to 85 °C. The modules are covered by a 12-year product warranty and a 30-year linear performance guarantee. During the first year, power degradation is capped at 2 per cent, with a reduced rate of 0.55 per cent from the second year onward.
