NTPC Limited has invited bids for development of the 25 MW floating solar PV project in Simhadri, Andhra Pradesh.
The scope of work includes:
- Design, engineering, manufacturing, supply, packing and forwarding, transportation, unloading storage, installation, testing and commissioning of the plant based on open category PV modules and cells
- Site-grading, providing power supply and water supply for construction purposes, supply of floaters, installation, anchoring, fixing of floaters for special purpose vehicle panels, pathways corresponding to 35 MW (minimum)
- Construction of inverter room with power conditioning unit and associated high tension and low tension switchgear (local pooling switchgear) of 11 kV voltage class
- Construction of central monitoring and control station with switchgear room with all electrical fitting and furniture, security cabin
- Supply and installation of 11 kV main pooling switchgear panel and bus duct extension for interconnection with existing 11 kV switchgear
- All associated electrical and civil works required for interfacing with grid like transformers, breakers, isolators, panels, protection system, cables and more
- Interconnection of 11 kV feeder using 11 kV cable or overhead conductor at 11 kV main pooling switchgear
- Solar module cleaning system; SCADA system for remote monitoring and control of inverters with all hardware and software
- O&M of plant along with electrical equipment, consumables and spare parts for a period of three years from the date of successful completion of trial run
According to tender guidelines, the solar PV cells and modules can be sourced from anywhere in the world. The last date for submission of bids is January 22, 2019.
