Pace Digitek Limited has received a letter of intent from BSES Rajdhani Power Limited (BRPL) to design, supply, install, test, commission, operate and maintain a cumulative capacity of 57.5 MW/115 MWh of standalone battery energy storage system (BESS) across four BRPL grid stations in Delhi for on-demand operation. The project, involving a capital investment of approximately Rs 1.794 billion, will be implemented under a 12-year build, own, operate and transfer (BOOT) model. It is scheduled for completion within seven months.
Under the battery energy storage service agreement, Pace Digitek will receive a fixed capacity tariff of Rs 4.705 million per MW annually, generating annual contracted revenue of around Rs 271 million. With this agreement, the company’s utility-scale build-own-operate/BOOT storage portfolio has increased to 3.32 GWh.
Earlier, in August 2026, Pace Digitek Limited’s subsidiary Lineage Power Private Limited commissioned an additional 2,500 MWh BESS manufacturing line. With the commissioning of the new manufacturing line, Pace Digitek’s total installed BESS manufacturing capacity has doubled from 2,500 MWh to 5,000 MWh.
