ERG has signed a five-year power purchase agreement (PPA) with Glencore Energy Europe B.V. for electricity generated from three wind farms in Poland. The agreement will commence on January 1, 2027 and will cover 164 GWh of renewable electricity annually. The agreement includes power from the Radziejów, Słupia and Szydłowo wind farms, accounting for approximately 70 per cent of their expected output.
Furthermore, the agreement covers a total contracted volume of approximately 820 GWh over five years under a baseload profile. The agreement also brings ERG’s total electricity contracted through PPAs over the past five years to around 4 TWh annually, equivalent to approximately 45 per cent of its total generation.
In September 2026, ERG completed the construction and energisation of the 22.5 MW Montbéliard wind farm in eastern France. The repowered facility features five Vestas V136 4.5 MW turbines, with expected annual generation of around 62 GWh. The project is backed by a 20-year contract for difference (CfD) and is expected to supply power to around 44,000 households, offsetting approximately 18,000 tonnes of carbon emissions annually.
