Oyster Renewable has partnered with MS Agarwal Foundries Private Limited to develop a 48 MWp solar-wind hybrid renewable energy project in Andhra Pradesh. The project will combine solar and wind generation to supply renewable power to MS Agarwal Foundries. Once operational, the facility is expected to generate over 122 million units of renewable electricity annually and help avoid approximately 86,620 tonnes of carbon emissions.
Earlier, in May 2026, Dalmia Cement (Bharat) Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of Dalmia Bharat Limited, entered into a share subscription and shareholders’ agreement along with a power consumption agreement to acquire a stake in Oyster Green Hybrid Five Private Limited, a special purpose vehicle of Oyster Renewable Energy Private Limited.
In April, 2026, Jindal Stainless Limited acquired an additional 4.6 per cent equity stake in Oyster Green Hybrid One Private Limited by investing Rs 0.23 billion. With this tranche, Jindal Stainless Limited completed its committed investment of Rs 1.32 billion in the company.
