Sterling and Wilson Renewable Energy Limited (SWREL) has secured an order for a 534.3 MWp solar project in Rajasthan from an unnamed independent power producer. The order is for the execution of a balance of system (BoS) package. Upon commissioning, the project is expected to reduce carbon emissions by approximately 0.8 million tonnes.
In April 2026, SWREL was declared the lowest bidder in a Coal India Limited tender for the turnkey engineering, procurement and construction of an 875 MWac grid-connected solar PV project in Bikaner, Rajasthan. The estimated contract value, including operations and maintenance, is approximately Rs 34.90 billion.
In December 2025, SWREL signed a five-year strategic partnership framework agreement with Adani Green Energy Limited and received a purchase order for the BoS package for three solar power projects at Khavda Renewable Energy Park in Gujarat. The order, valued at approximately Rs 13.81 billion, covers the supply of goods and on-site services.
