ACME Solar Holdings Limited (ACME Solar), through its wholly owned subsidiary ACME Greentech Seventh Private Limited, has commissioned Phase II of the battery energy storage system (BESS) component, comprising 52.32 MW/209.28 MWh, of its 300 MW/1,200 MWh firm and despatchable renewable energy (FDRE) project at Kelan village in Bikaner, Rajasthan. The commercial operation date for the project is September 19, 2026.
Furthermore, with this addition, ACME Greentech Seventh has commissioned a cumulative capacity of 105.95 MW/423.80 MWh of the project’s BESS component. The power purchase agreement for the project has been signed with SJVN Limited, with REC Limited providing long-term project financing.
In September 2026, ACME Solar, through its wholly owned subsidiary ACME Greentech Seventh Private Limited, commissioned 53.63 MW/300 MWh of BESS capacity. The capacity forms Phase I of its 300 MW/1,581 MWh FDRE project at Kelan village in Bikaner, Rajasthan.
