GREW Solar and Caelux partner for 4 GW solar module production

GREW Solar Private Limited and Caelux Corporation have entered into a five-year commercialisation partnership for production of 4 GW of high-power Hybrid-Tandem solar modules. Under the agreement, GREW Solar will use Caelux’s Energy Producing Glass with its N-Type TOPCon technology to manufacture advanced solar modules, including its large-format G12R series.

Furthermore, Caelux’s technology will enable GREW to manufacture modules featuring two energy-generating layers to generate efficiencies of over 29 per cent. With this agreement, Caelux’s total contracted volume with solar module manufacturers globally has increased to 19 GW. The companies are targeting commercial production by 2028, with modules expected to meet the approved list of module manufacturers’ eligibility requirements.

Earlier, in March 2026, GREW Solar received a repeat order worth around Rs 5 billion from a domestic independent power producer (IPP). The order was for the supply of its high-efficiency M10R TOPCon photovoltaic modules.
