SECI awards module and BoS packages for 700 MW solar project in Gujarat

The Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI) has announced winners of different project packages for its 700 MW ground-mounted solar project at Radhanesda, Gujarat. In the 870 MWp solar PV module supply tender, Kosol Energie Private Limited and Saatvik Green Energy Limited emerged as winners. Kosol Energie secured a 300 MWp project worth Rs 5.58 billion, while Saatvik Green Energy was awarded a 600 MWp project worth Rs 10.93 billion. The scope of work covers the manufacturing, testing, packing, forwarding, supply, and transportation of 870 MWp domestically manufactured solar PV modules with domestically manufactured solar cells

Furthermore, the balance of system (BoS) tender for the project was awarded to LC Infra Projects Private Limited for Rs 10.95 billion. SECI also awarded the tender for setting power transformers for the solar project. The tender was awarded to Technical Associates Transformers Limited for Rs 733.9 million. The scope of work covers the engineering, design, manufacturing, testing, and supply of 5 Nos. 160 MVA, 220/33-33 KV power transformers up to the project site.

Earlier this month, SECI signed an MoU with HyperVault AI Data Center Limited to supply renewable energy to the company’s upcoming data centre facilities in Telangana. Under the agreement, SECI will explore the development of captive renewable energy projects and support land identification and transmission connectivity to facilitate reliable power supply to the facilities.
