ACME Solar Holdings Limited (ACME Solar), through its wholly owned subsidiary ACME Greentech Seventh Private Limited, has commissioned 53.63 MW/300 MWh of battery energy storage system (BESS) capacity under Phase I of its 300 MW/1,581 MWh firm and despatchable renewable energy project at Kelan village in Bikaner, Rajasthan. At present, only the BESS component has been commissioned, while the associated renewable energy generation component is under development. The commercial operation date for the commissioned BESS capacity is September 16, 2026.
In August 2026, ACME Solar secured Rs 15.71 billion in long-term project financing from India Infrastructure Finance Company Limited (IIFCL) for the development of a 300 MW assured peak power project in Rajasthan. IIFCL is the sole lender for the project, with the financing carrying a 19-year repayment period.
In June 2026, ACME Solar, through its wholly owned subsidiary ACME Sun Power Private Limited, commissioned 33.33 MW/120.38 MWh of BESS capacity in Rajasthan. The project is located at Badi Sid village in Jodhpur and Bap tehsil in Phalodi.
