Vikram Solar Limited has secured a 124 MW module supply order from Capital Energy Private Limited for a solar project in Anantapur, Andhra Pradesh. Under the agreement, the company will supply its high-efficiency G12R TOPCon modules, with rated capacities ranging from 620 Wp to 630 Wp. The module supplies are scheduled to commence in October 2026.
In August 2026, Vikram Solar commissioned a 6 GW solar module manufacturing plant at Gangaikondan, Tirunelveli, Tamil Nadu, located within a 186-acre greenfield campus. The company plans to expand the facility to include solar cell, wafer and ingot manufacturing and establish 9 GW of solar cell manufacturing capacity by financial year (FY) 2026-27, with further expansion planned by FY 2027-28.
In February 2026, Vikram Solar secured an order to supply 378.75 MW of solar modules for a project tendered by NTPC Green Energy Limited. The modules will be deployed near Nakhatrana in Kutch district, Gujarat, as part of a 600 MW solar project being developed by Indian Oil NTPC Green Energy Private Limited.
