Noida Power Company Limited (NPCL) has invited bids for the selection of developers for the supply of 300 MW of round-the-clock (RTC) power from inter-state transmission system (ISTS)-connected renewable energy projects. The minimum quantum of power that can be offered by the bidder shall be 50 MW. The online bid submission deadline is October 1, 2026.
According to the tender specifications, the selected developers will be responsible for supplying RTC power using solar, wind, or any other renewable energy source defined by the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy, along with an energy storage system and the transmission network up to the interconnection or delivery point. The developers can either set up the storage capacity themselves or tie up with energy storage system developers. Additionally, developers with commissioned or under-construction renewable energy or storage projects with untied capacity can also participate. The projects will be technology agnostic and must be designed for interconnection with an ISTS substation at 220 kV or above. The RPD must also have applied for or obtained the required connectivity from the central transmission utility or state transmission utility at the time of bid submission.
Furthermore, the RTC configuration can include a combination of renewable energy and energy storage capacity, such as solar, wind, and storage systems. Bidders are required to submit a bid processing fee of Rs 1.5 million, with a document fee of Rs 29,500.
