Shell Energy Philippines, through its subsidiary, San Isidro Solar Power Corporation has entered into a 15-year power supply agreement with Greenlight Renewables Holdings. The agreement includes an additional 120 MWp of clean energy which will be sourced from the second phase of the San Isidro solar project located in Leyte. This marks the second power supply contract signed between the companies.
Furthermore, both phases of the project are currently operational, with the first phase being energised in October 2025 and the second phase reaching energization in July 2026. Together with the initial 15-year agreement for phase one of the project, the partnership between the companies now totals 240 MWp of solar output.
In August 2026, Shell Energy Philippines finalized engineering, construction and operational deals for its 30 MW/60 MWh Hermosa battery energy storage system project located in Hermosa, Bataan. Power Dimension was awarded the engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) contract, while long-term service agreement (LTSA) and operations & maintenance contracts were awarded to Sungrow Power Technology Solutions Philippines for the project.
