ACME Solar and NFR sign PPA for 130 MW RTC renewable project

ACME Marigold Urja Private Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of ACME Solar Holdings Limited, has signed a power purchase agreement (PPA) with Northeast Frontier Railway (NFR) for a 130 MW round-the-clock (RTC) renewable energy project. Furthermore, the PPA has a tenure of 25 years from the scheduled commencement of supply date, with a tariff of Rs 4.35 per kWh applicable throughout the tenure. The project is scheduled to commence power supply on February 25, 2029. 

In August 2026, ACME Solar completed the refinancing of Rs 21.47 billion, enabling the redemption of existing non-convertible debentures issued by 12 operational special purpose vehicles with a cumulative capacity of 450 MW. Concurrently, the underlying offshore dollar bonds under the orphan structure were also fully redeemed. 

In July 2026, ACME Renewtech Fifth Private Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of ACME Solar Holdings Limited, signed a PPA with Solar Energy Corporation of India Limited for a 300 MW wind-solar hybrid project under Hybrid Tranche IX. The PPA has a tenure of 25 years, with a tariff of Rs 3.25 per kWh, and power supply is scheduled to commence in June 2028.
