Sosteneo SGR has agreed to establish ENOVA Generation onshore wind platform in Germany. The platform will comprise 11 onshore wind projects with a combined capacity of approximately 350 MW. The portfolio is being acquired from Enova Value, a joint venture between Omnes Capital, through its Capenergie 4 and Capenergie 5 funds, and Enova Power GmBH. Sosteneo will hold the majority stake with ENOVA retaining a minority stake and assuming full operational management of the projects.
Furthermore, around 40 per cent of the projects are already operational from the date of acquisition, while the remaining 60 per cent is under construction or nearing final investment decisions. All projects also benefit from 20-year remuneration under Germany’s Renewable Energy Sources Act. The transaction is expected to close in the third quarter of 2026, with Sosteneo’s Fund II having raised €300 million to date and targeting a total size of €1 billion.
In March 2026, Sosteneo SGR acquired the remaining 50 per cent stake in the Mineo solar photovoltaic project from European Energy. The project has an installed capacity of 151 MW, and is located in Sicily, Italy. Sosteneo initially acquired a 50 per cent stake in November 2023. European Energy advanced the project through development to the construction-ready stage, with Sosteneo now overseeing the project construction.
