Pace Digitek Limited’s subsidiary Lineage Power Private Limited has commissioned an additional 2,500 MWh battery energy storage system (BESS) manufacturing line. With the commissioning of the new manufacturing line, Pace Digitek’s total installed BESS manufacturing capacity has doubled from 2,500 MWh to 5,000 MWh. Over the past year, the company has manufactured more than 300 utility-scale BESS containers, with a total battery energy storage capacity of around 1,500 MWh.
Earlier, in July 2026, Pace Digitek Limited signed an engineering, procurement, and construction contract with NLC India Limited for the development of 250 MW/500 MWh standalone BESS projects across three locations in Tamil Nadu.
In June 2026, Pace Digitek announced the signing of a power purchase agreement between TRANSGREENX, the asset-holding arm of Pace Group, and Bangalore Electricity Supply Company Limited for the development of a 250 MW solar project integrated with a 250 MW/1,100 MWh BESS at Pavagada Solar Park, Karnataka.
