KP Energy and GUVNL ink PPA for 100 MW wind project

KP Energy Limited has executed a power purchase agreement (PPA) with Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam Limited (GUVNL) for the development of a 100 MW grid-connected wind power project. The project was awarded under GUVNL’s wind tender (Phase X) through a tariff-based competitive bidding process.

Furthermore, the project has been awarded at an approved tariff of Rs 3.435 per unit for a period of 25 years, with power supply scheduled to commence on July 30, 2028. With this agreement, the company’s cumulative independent power producer portfolio has crossed 250 MW.

In November 2025, KP Energy signed an MoU with Inox Wind for the co-development of wind and wind-solar hybrid projects in India. Under the agreement, KP Energy is responsible for land, connectivity, statutory approvals, and balance of plant execution, while Inox Wind will supply wind turbine generators, provide engineering support, and undertake commissioning and operations and maintenance services.
