Waaree Energies Limited has reported its financial results for the first quarter (Q1) of the financial year (FY) 2026-27. The company recorded revenue of Rs 79.31 billion in the first quarter of FY 2026-27, up 79.22 per cent year-on-year (YoY) from Rs 44.25 billion in Q1 FY 2025-26. The company’s operating earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortisation (EBITDA) increased by 44.38 per cent YoY to Rs 14.39 billion from Rs 9.97 billion in Q1 FY 2025-26. Its operating EBITDA margin stood at 18.15 per cent, compared to 22.53 per cent a year earlier.
The company’s profit after tax (PAT) in Q1 FY 2026-27 rose by 15.39 per cent YoY to Rs 8.91 billion from Rs 7.72 billion reported in Q1 FY 2025-26. The PAT margin declined to 11.01 per cent from 16.81 per cent in the same quarter last year.
Additionally, during the quarter, Waaree Energies produced 3.24 GW of solar modules, an increase of 41.51 per cent YoY. Moreover, the company secured new orders worth around Rs 160 billion. With these additions, its total order book increased to around Rs 615 billion.
