ACME secures PFC funding for 250 MW FDRE project 

ACME Solar Holdings Limited has secured Rs 34.04 billion in long-term project financing from Power Finance Corporation Limited (PFC). The financing has been secured for the development and construction of the company’s ACME Urja One Private Limited (Phase – III) 250 MW firm and despatchable renewable energy (FDRE) project. The FDRE project integrates solar, wind, and battery energy storage system technologies to enhance power supply reliability and despatchability.

PFC will act as the sole lender for the project with a repayment tenure of 19 years. Furthermore, the project has a 25-year power purchase agreement with NHPC Limited at a tariff of Rs 4.33 per unit. It spans across Fatehgarh-II in Jaisalmer, Rajasthan, and Jamkhambhaliya in Devbhumi Dwarka, Gujarat. Additionally, the project is expected to be commissioned in 2027.

In July 2026, ACME Solar Holdings Limited secured long-term project financing of Rs 26.46 billion from REC Limited for its ACME Greentech Seventh 450 MW/1,800 MWh assured peak power project.
