ACME Solar Holdings Limited, through its subsidiaries, has announced the commissioning of around 2.29 GWh of battery energy storage system (BESS) capacity so far in the financial year (FY) 2026-27. As a result, the company’s total operational BESS capacity has increased to around 3.62 GWh across three project sites in Rajasthan.
Earlier, in July 2026, ACME Renewtech Fifth Private Limited, a wholly-owned subsidiary of ACME Solar Holdings Limited, signed a power purchase agreement with Solar Energy Corporation of India Limited for a 300 MW wind-solar hybrid project under Hybrid Tranche IX.
Also, in July 2026, ACME Solar secured long-term project financing of Rs 26.46 billion from REC Limited for its ACME Greentech Seventh 450 MW/1,800 MWh assured peak power project.
