Kalpa Power Private Limited has signed an MoU with Pace Digitek’s subsidiary, Lineage Power Private Limited, to secure 100 MWh of battery energy storage system (BESS) capacity. Under the agreement, Lineage Power will give Kalpa Power priority access to 100 MWh of BESS capacity manufactured at its facilities. The secured capacity will be used for WATTBANK, Kalpa Power’s productised BESS service, and will support battery storage projects across rooftop solar, open access and hybrid renewable projects.
Kalpa Power currently has nearly 80 MWh of BESS capacity under deployment across multiple projects, and aims to deploy 500 MWh by 2028. Additionally, the company is working towards expanding its renewable energy portfolio to 5 GW by 2030.
Earlier, in June 2026, Lineage Power signed a supply agreement with Guangzhou Rongjie Energy Technology Co. Limited for the supply of 3 GWh of lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery cells and related accessories. Under the agreement, RJE Tech will supply its 314Ah LFP prismatic battery cells.
