With over 20 years of experience across the IT, manufacturing and consulting sectors, Beenal Raychura has built her career around developing leaders, enabling organisational transformation, and creating people practices that drive business outcomes. Before joining ENGIE India, she led the human resources function at Tenneco and spent over 10 years at TCS, where she supported a workforce of over 5,000 employees across multiple locations. She is also a certified Six Sigma Green Belt, bringing a structured and data-driven approach to HR. “The most exciting part of my role is the opportunity to support ENGIE India’s growth journey while contributing to India’s transition towards a low-carbon future. Working at the intersection of strategy, talent, and transformation allows me to build the right talent ecosystem, shape a future-ready organisation, and create meaningful impact through people and culture,” she says.
According to Raychura, one of the biggest workforce challenges in the renewable energy sector is ensuring that talent development keeps pace with the sector’s rapid growth and increasing complexity. As renewable energy evolves through storage, automation and AI-led operations, demand for specialised skills continues to rise. At ENGIE, the focus is on continuous learning through cross-functional exposure, digital upskilling, leadership development, and building future-ready talent to support long-term growth.
Her management style is centered on building strong teams through coaching, empowerment and trust. She encourages people to experiment, learn and grow while maintaining clear direction and accountability. She believes in creating opportunities for development and fostering a strategic mindset that enables teams to contribute beyond immediate responsibilities and support long-term business goals.
Looking ahead, Raychura’s goal is to help ENGIE India build an organisation where business and people grow together. This includes strengthening leadership pipelines, advancing diversity and inclusion, and creating opportunities for employees to build meaningful careers in a fast-evolving energy sector. She aims to support a strong people foundation rooted in performance, inclusion and capability building. She also hopes to contribute more broadly to the future of work, leadership and workforce transformation, especially in the heartland of India.
Outside work, Raychura enjoys spending quality time with family and friends, engaging in puzzles and brain teasers, and reading suspense and self-help books. These activities help her recharge and maintain balance.
