Avaada Electro operationalises 3 GW solar cell production line in Nagpur

Avaada Electro Limited, the solar manufacturing arm of Avaada Group, has commissioned the first 3 GW production line of its 6 GW high-efficiency n-type TOPCon solar cell manufacturing facility at its integrated solar manufacturing plant in Butibori, Nagpur in Maharashtra. The remaining 3 GW capacity is currently under ramp-up.

Furthermore, the facility is equipped with advanced n-type TOPCon technology capable of achieving cell efficiencies of up to 25.5 per cent under standard test conditions. Additionally, it incorporates 16-busbar and 18-busbar architecture to enhance power density, reliability and energy yield.

In June 2026, Avaada Group secured debt financing of nearly $950 million for three utility-scale renewable energy projects, including a firm and dispatchable renewable energy project in Bikaner, Rajasthan, and two 300 MW solar power projects in Rajasthan and Gujarat.
