Insolation Green Energy Private Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of Insolation Energy Limited, has been awarded a contract by NTPC Renewable Energy Limited (NTPC REL), a wholly owned subsidiary of NTPC Limited. The contract is for the supply of solar photovoltaic (PV) modules and is valued at Rs 5.58 billion.
In April 2026, NTPC REL invited bids for the supply of solar photovoltaic modules for 1,000 MW solar projects in Lalitpur and Chitrakoot in Uttar Pradesh. The supply is intended for Lalitpur-1 (435 MWp), Lalitpur-2 (435 MWp), and Chitrakoot-1 (580 MWp), aggregating to a total DC capacity of 1,450 MWp.
In December 2025, Insolation Green Energy secured two orders for the supply of solar PV modules with a combined value of approximately Rs 5.16 billion.
