Shakti Pumps (India) Limited and Oswal Pumps Limited have received orders from Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Limited (MSEDCL) under the Magel Tyala Saur Krishi Pump Yojana for the supply of offgrid solar water pumping systems.
Shakti Pumps received an order for 15,000 offgrid solar water pumping systems valued at approximately Rs 3.54 billion, while Oswal Pumps secured an order for 10,000 offgrid DC solar water pumping systems valued at approximately Rs 2.36 billion. Both the orders cover solar pumps with capacities of 3 HP, 5 HP and 7.5 HP.
According to the orders, the scope of work includes the design, manufacture, supply, transportation, installation, testing and commissioning of offgrid solar water pumping systems across Maharashtra. For Oswal Pumps, the scope also includes a five-year comprehensive warranty, repair and maintenance services, along with remote monitoring system support. Both orders are scheduled to be executed within 60 days from the date of issuance of the work order.
