Bluebird Solar introduces G12R bifacial solar modules

Bluebird Solar has introduced its new G12R bifacial solar modules with a power output of 630 Wp and module efficiency of up to 23.32 per cent. The modules are based on N-type TOPCon technology and incorporate 132 half-cut cells, a 16BB multi-busbar architecture, and an advanced bifacial design. According to the company, these features help reduce electrical losses, improve current collection, and enhance overall system performance. Additionally, the high-power output enables greater electricity generation using fewer modules, contributing to improved space utilisation and lower balance-of-system costs.

They are designed to deliver higher power density, making them suitable for projects where land availability is limited. Other major benefits include efficient performance in low-light conditions during cloudy weather, early mornings, and late evenings, lower temperature coefficient to help minimise efficiency loss, and lower degradation rates. Furthermore, Bluebird Solar has provided a 30-year performance warranty for the modules. The G12R modules are intended for use across utility-scale solar plants, commercial and industrial rooftop installations, ground-mounted projects, large-scale EPC deployments, and residential solar systems requiring high energy output and efficient use of available space.
