SolarSquare has raised $53 million in a Series C funding round. The round was led by B Capital, with existing investor Lightspeed doubling down on its investment, while Elevation Capital, Lowercarbon Capital, Rainmatter by Zerodha, and Good Capital also returned to participate in the current funding round. With this raise, the company’s total funding has surpassed $100 million.
Furthermore, the fresh capital will be used to accelerate SolarSquare’s expansion into new cities, strengthen its technology capabilities, and support talent acquisition. The company also plans to scale its platform and expand its presence in the residential solar market.
SolarSquare operates in the residential rooftop solar segment, offering end-to-end solutions covering system design, installation, financing, and maintenance. The company has powered more than 50,000 homes.
