Bondada Engineering Limited has received an award for the engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) package of a 250 MW solar project with a 50 MW/200 MWh battery energy storage system (BESS). The solar-plus-BESS project, located at Sitapur, Uttar Pradesh, was awarded by NTPC Renewable Energy Limited.
Furthermore, the project is scheduled to be completed within 18 months from the receipt of the award. The contract is valued at approximately Rs 13.38 billion. Following this order, Bondada Engineering’s solar EPC order book has grown to around 5.5 GWp, while its BESS order book has reached approximately 1.1 GWh.
Earlier, in May 2026, Bondada Engineering Limited secured multiple orders worth Rs 4.69 billion from Adani Group. The orders were awarded by Adani Green Energy Limited and Adani Green Energy Six Limited for the execution of the balance of system package for a 250 MW solar power project at Khavda, Gujarat.
