Pacifico Energy signs MoU for 3.2 GW South Korean offshore wind cluster

Pacifico Energy Korea has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Hana Bank and Hana Securities to explore financing solutions for the 3.2 GW Jindo Offshore Wind Project Cluster in South Korea. The MoU will involve the three parties collaborating on funding strategies covering the development, construction and operation phases of the offshore wind portfolio, while also developing a financing model for Korea’s offshore wind industry.

The Jindo cluster comprises three projects, including the 420 MW Myeong Ryang offshore wind project, the 990 MW Manho offshore wind project and the 1.8 GW Jindo Baram offshore wind project. The Myeong Ryang project secured its Electricity Business License in September 2025, while applications for the Manho and Jindo Baram projects are currently under review.

In January 2026, Pacifico Energy Vietnam commenced commercial operations at the 30 MW Sunpro Wind Farm in Vĩnh Long Province, Vietnam. The project achieved commercial operations on December 19, 2025. The project is wholly owned by Pacifico Energy Group through its Vietnam-based development platform, Pacifico Energy Vietnam. The project is also supported by a 20-year feed-in tariff agreement with Vietnam Electricity Group (EVN).
