ACME Solar Holdings Limited (ACME Solar) has commissioned 33.33 MW/120.38 MWh of battery energy storage system (BESS) capacity through its wholly owned subsidiary ACME Sun Power Private Limited. The project is located at Village Badi Sid in Jodhpur and Tehsil Bap in Phalodi, Rajasthan. The commercial operation date for the project is June 14, 2026. Furthermore, with this addition, ACME Sun Power Private Limited’s total commissioned BESS capacity has reached 300 MW/1,404.32 MWh.
In March 2026, ACME Solar, through its subsidiaries, commissioned 155 MW/470.25 MWh of BESS projects in Rajasthan, which are connected to the existing inter-state transmission system and will operate on a merchant basis.
Furthermore, earlier in February 2026, ACME Solar, through its wholly owned subsidiary ACME Urja One, inked a 25-year power purchase agreement with the Solar Energy Corporation of India for a 190 MW wind-solar hybrid project with assured peak power supply.
