SAEL commissions 14.9 MW WtE plant in Rajasthan

SAEL Industries Limited (SIL), through its subsidiary VCA Power Private Limited, has commissioned a 14.9 MW agri waste-to-energy (WtE) plant in Bhadra, Rajasthan. With this addition, the company now operates 11 Agri WtE plants with a combined capacity of 164.9 MW.

In April 2026, SIL commissioned 600 MWac of solar capacity in Kurnool, Andhra Pradesh, through its subsidiaries SAEL Solar MHP1 Private Limited and SAEL Solar MHP2 Private Limited. The capacity comprises two 300 MW solar power plants spread across more than 2,400 acres and equipped with over 1.2 million bifacial TOPCon modules manufactured at the company’s facilities in Punjab and Rajasthan.

In January 2026, SIL commissioned a 1 GWp/800 MWac solar power plant at the Khavda Renewable Energy Park in Gujarat through its subsidiaries, SAEL Solar P4 Private Limited and SAEL Solar P5 Private Limited. The solar power plant will be backed by a 25-year long-term power purchase agreement with Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam Limited.
