Onward Solar Power has signed a battery energy storage purchase agreement (BESPA) with Grid Corporation of Odisha (GRIDCO) Limited for a 45 MW/180 MWh standalone battery energy storage system (BESS) project in Odisha. The project was awarded through a competitive bidding process conducted by the Solar Energy Corporation of India Limited.
In March 2026, Onward Solar Power signed a BESPA with Tamil Nadu Power Distribution Corporation Limited for a 25 MW/100 MWh standalone BESS project in Tamil Nadu.
