JSW Energy Limited has commissioned a wind blade manufacturing plant at Halol, Gujarat. The facility has an annual production capacity of up to 450 wind blades, equivalent to around 600 MW of wind projects. Moreover, it will manufacture 82-metre blades designed for 4 MW wind turbine generators.
Furthermore, the facility will help the company reduce supply chain risks, meet Ministry of New and Renewable Energy domestic content rules, and optimise project costs by cutting logistics and other expenses, which improves project returns. It will also protect the company from price changes in wind blade inputs.
In May 2026, JSW Energy successfully completed Rs 40 billion equity raise through a qualified institutional placement. The company allotted 76.19 million equity shares with a face value of Rs 10 each at an issue price of Rs 525 per share, including a premium of Rs 515 per share.
In November 2025, JSW Energy commissioned a green hydrogen manufacturing plant adjacent to the JSW Steel facility in Karnataka. As part of a seven year offtake agreement with JSW Steel, the plant will supply 3,800 TPA of green hydrogen and 30,000 TPA of green oxygen. It will supply green hydrogen directly to the direct reduced iron unit of the adjacent JSW Steel facility for low carbon steel production.
