NTPC Renewable Energy Limited (NREL), a wholly owned subsidiary of NTPC Limited, has floated two engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) tenders for the development of 790 MW of grid-connected solar photovoltaic (PV) projects in Rajasthan. The proposed capacity under the two tenders comprises a 240 MW solar project near Devikot and a 550 MW solar PV project near Shimbhoo Ka Burj in Rajasthan.
According to the tender guidelines, the scope of work includes complete design, engineering, manufacturing, supply, transportation, installation, testing, and commissioning of the solar power plant, including the supply of solar PV modules. The work also involves site development activities such as land grading, vegetation clearance, topographical surveys, and geotechnical investigations. In addition, it also covers the construction of foundations, installation of tracker-based module mounting structures, and mounting and interconnection of solar PV modules.
Furthermore, bids for the tender for the 240 MW project must be accompanied by a bid security of Rs 100 million, while those for the 550 MW project require a bid security of Rs 200 million. The bid submission deadline for both tenders is June 26, 2026.
