Ganesh Green Bharat Limited (GGBL) has secured an engineering, procurement, and construction order for a 1,000 MWh battery energy storage system (BESS) from NTPC Renewable Energy Limited (NREL). According to the specifications of the order, GGBL will also be responsible for the supply of the BESS.
GGBL reported strong financial growth in the financial year (FY) 2025-26, with revenue rising to Rs 10.64 billion from Rs 3.21 billion in FY2024-25. Profit after tax increased to Rs 751.8 million from Rs 302.2 million during the same period. Additionally, the company also has an order book of approximately Rs 22.12 billion.
Earlier, in April 2026, GGBL secured an order worth over Rs 4.3 billion from a domestic entity. The order was for the supply of 630 Wp TOPCon N-type bifacial solar photovoltaic modules.
