Patel Infrastructure Limited has invited bids for engineering procurement and construction (EPC) of Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam Limited’s (GUVNL) 700 MW solar project in Ahmedabad, Gujarat. According to the tender guidelines, the scope of work includes land aggregation and related activities, as well as the design, engineering, procurement, construction, testing, and commissioning of the photovoltaic (PV) plant, grid substation, pooling substation, and 66 kV or 220 kV transmission lines. PV modules and module mounting structures will be supplied as free issue items.
Additionally, the technical bid documents include a PAN card, while the commercial bid documents contain a board resolution or authorisation letter and a GST registration certificate. The bidders will be required to pay a tender document fee of Rs 25,000. The bid submission deadline is June 19, 2026.
In January 2026, Patel Infrastructure along with Alfanar Power won GUVNL’s 250 MW (Phase-X) wind auction, securing 100 MW and 50 MW of capacity, respectively, at a quoted tariff of Rs 3.43 per kWh each. KP Energy and Powerica were awarded 50 MW each at a tariff of Rs 3.44 per kWh.
