ACME Solar Holdings Limited, through its subsidiary ACME Renewtech Sixth Private Limited, has entered into a 25-year power purchase agreement (PPA) with Solar Energy Corporation of India Limited (SECI). The agreement is for 300 MW/1,200 MWh interstate transmission system (ISTS) connected assured peak power capacity. Under the agreement, ACME Solar will supply 4 hours of assured peak power during non-solar hours, with a minimum annual availability requirement of 85 per cent.
The project will be connected to the ISTS substations and will use ACME Solar’s existing nighttime connectivity available in high irradiation zones. Furthermore, the project was awarded under SECI’s firm and dispatchable renewable energy (FDRE) Tranche-VII tender. With this agreement, ACME Solar’s PPA-signed portfolio has increased to 6,570 MW out of its total contracted portfolio of 8,070 MW.
Earlier, in April 2026, ACME Group, through its green hydrogen and ammonia business, inked a 10-year binding green ammonia purchase agreement with SECI. The agreement covers a supply capacity of 370,000 tonnes per annum of green ammonia.
