Suzlon Energy Limited has secured a wind turbine order of 195 MW from Sunsure Energy. As per the order, Suzlon will install 65 S144 wind turbine generators, each with a capacity of 3.0 MW, for a project in the Bijapur district of Karnataka. The company will supply the turbines and undertake project execution, including erection and commissioning.
Moreover, Suzlon will also provide operations and maintenance services for the project after commissioning. With this order, Suzlon’s orderbook in Karnataka has crossed 2 GW, and has taken its total sales of the 3 MW platform to nearly 9 GW.
In March 2026, Suzlon Group secured a 100 MW wind energy project order from Gas Authority of India Limited. Under the order, Suzlon will install 47 of its S120 wind turbine generators, each with a capacity of 2.1 MW.
