Fujiyama Power Systems Limited has received approval for setting up a 1.2 GW TopCon solar cell manufacturing facility at its Ratlam plant in Madhya Pradesh. The manufacturing facility represents an estimated investment of Rs 3.5 billion. The project will be funded through a mix of debt and internal accruals.
Furthermore, the project is part of Fujiyama’s backward integration and technology upgradation plans. The commercial operations at the new facility are expected to begin in the first quarter of the financial year 2028. It will strengthen Fujiyama Power Systems’ integrated manufacturing capabilities across the solar value chain.
Earlier this month, Fujiyama Power Systems Limited commissioned a 2,000 MW solar panel manufacturing facility at Ratlam, Madhya Pradesh as a part of its greenfield manufacturing expansion programme.
