Grenergy has entered into a 20-year power purchase agreement (PPA) with Georgia Power in US for the supply of renewable energy and associated renewable attributes under the Clean and Renewable Energy Subscription (CARES) 2023 programme. The agreement covers the entire output from the Beaver Creek hybrid project, which is estimated to generate approximately 400 GWh of energy annually.
The Beaver Creek project is located in Baldwin County, Georgia. The project will comprise 229 MW of solar capacity along with 183 MWh of battery storage capacity. Georgia Power will manage battery market operations for the project. Commercial operations for the project are expected to commence in the third quarter of 2028, and the PPA is scheduled to come into effect from May 2029.
In May 2026, Grenergy secured $268 million in senior non-recourse financing, including credit facilities, for the Monte Águila project in Chile. The project comprises 342 MW of solar capacity and 1,034 MWh of energy storage capacity and forms part of the company’s Central Oasis platform. The financing was arranged through an international banking consortium led by BNP Paribas, with participation from KfW IPEX-Bank, Coöperatieve Rabobank, Natixis, and The Bank of Nova Scotia.
