Boviet Solar sells US solar manufacturing assets to INOX Clean Energy

Boviet Solar Technology LLC has announced the sale of 100 per cent of its US based subsidiary assets, Boviet NC, to INOX Solar Americas LLC. The transaction, valued at approximately $750 million, is expected to close this month, subject to customary regulatory approvals and conditions. Through this acquisition, Inox Clean will gain an operational 3 GW solar module manufacturing capacity utilising advanced N-Type technology.

The transaction further includes a binding agreement to acquire an additional 3 GW solar cell manufacturing facility based on advanced N-Type technology. This cell manufacturing facility is expected to be commissioned by December 2026. The transaction preserves Boviet Solar’s 3 GW annual solar module manufacturing capacity at its North Carolina facility while supporting future expansion.
