REnergy Dynamics has secured two waste-to-compressed biogas (CBG) projects from Refex Renewables in Tamil Nadu. The projects include a 12.5 tonnes per day (TPD) plant in Coimbatore and a 10 TPD plant in Salem. The two facilities will use the organic fraction of municipal solid waste as feedstock and will together process 550 tonnes of waste per day.
Furthermore, REnergy Dynamics will undertake engineering, procurement, and construction activities for both facilities, along with one year of operations and maintenance services after commissioning. The projects will deploy two-stage mesophilic anaerobic digestion with CSTR technology to support efficient processing and optimised gas yields.
