Advait Energy Transitions Limited has signed an MoU with TECO Fuel Cell Technology AS at the third India-Nordic Summit to support hydrogen fuel cell manufacturing in India. As part of the agreement, TECO Fuel Cell Technology AS and its co-development partner AVL List GmbH will introduce their jointly developed 400 kW hydrogen fuel cell module and 100 kW hydrogen fuel cell stack in India for local manufacturing, customisation, and deployment.
Furthermore, the partnership will focus on three sectors: stationary power systems such as data centres, heavy-duty transport and mobility, and maritime and shipping applications. Production for stationary power systems is targeted to begin in the first quarter (Q1) of 2027, while production for heavy-duty transport is expected to begin in Q1 2028. Maritime applications will also be developed alongside mobility projects through 2028.
Earlier, in March 2026, Advait Greenergy Private Limited, a subsidiary of Advait Energy Transitions Limited, inaugurated a 30 MW alkaline electrolyser assembly facility in Mehsana, Gujarat.
