Waaree Clean Energy Solutions Private Limited (WCES), a wholly owned subsidiary of Waaree Energies Limited, has secured an order to develop a multi-technology green hydrogen project at TMEIC Industrial Systems India Private Limited’s facility in Tumkur, Karnataka. The project will include production, storage, and utilisation of green hydrogen at a single site.
Furthermore, under the project, WCES will deploy a hybrid system using both proton exchange membrane and alkaline electrolysers with centralised automation for operations. According to the order specifications, the scope of work also includes hydrogen compression and storage, a high-pressure refuelling station, and an electric vehicle charging unit powered by hydrogen fuel cells. WCES will be responsible for engineering, procurement, commissioning, and five years of operations and maintenance for the project.
Earlier in May 2025, Waaree Forever Energies Four Private Limited, a wholly owned step-down subsidiary of Waaree Energies Limited, signed a power purchase agreement with Solar Energy Corporation of India Limited to develop a 300 MW wind power project in Dwarka, Gujarat.
