Fujiyama commissions solar panel manufacturing facility in Madhya Pradesh

Fujiyama Power Systems Limited has commissioned a 2,000 MW solar panel manufacturing facility at Ratlam, Madhya Pradesh. The facility is part of the company’s greenfield manufacturing expansion programme, and has been planned with manufacturing capacities of 2,000 MW each for solar panels, batteries and inverters. The inverter and battery manufacturing lines are expected to be commissioned in the first and second quarters of financial year 2026-27, respectively.

The facility will initially operate at nearly 1,000 MW capacity annually, under a single shift operation. Furthermore, the company plans to gradually scale operations through double shifts to achieve full capacity utilisation by the fourth quarter of financial year 2026-27. With the commissioning of this facility, Fujiyama Power Systems Limited’s total solar panel manufacturing capacity has now reached 3,568 MW.

In January 2026, Fujiyama Power Systems Limited commissioned a 1 GW solar cell manufacturing facility at Dadri, Uttar Pradesh, with the facility intended entirely for captive consumption. The project represents a total investment of Rs 3 billion.
