Tata Power has announced the results for the financial year (FY) 2025-26, ending March 31, 2026. The company’s consolidated revenue from operations stood at Rs 636.81 billion in FY 2025-26, registering a 1.27 per cent decrease year-on-year (YoY) from Rs 645.02 billion reported in FY 2024-25. Earnings before interest, taxes, and amortization (EBITDA) increased from Rs 144.68 billion in FY 2024-25 to Rs 160.90 billion in FY 2025-26, indicating 11 per cent YoY increase. Profit after tax (PAT) increased approximately 7 per cent YoY, from Rs 47.75 billion in FY 2024-25 to Rs 51.18 billion in FY 2025-26. In the renewable segments particularly, EBITDA rose by 44 per cent to Rs 62.28 billion, while PAT increased by 59 per cent to Rs 19.94 billion.
Furthermore, in the fourth quarter (Q4) of FY 2025-26, consolidated revenue was Rs 159.62 billion, indicating 8 per cent YoY decrease from approximately Rs 173.28 billion in Q4 FY 2024-25. Consolidated EBITA increased 10 per cent from Rs 38.29 billion in Q4 FY 2024-25 to Rs 42.16 billion in Q4 2025-26. Consolidated PAT was Rs 14.16 billion, registering 8 per cent YoY increase from approximately Rs 13.06 billion PAT reported in Q4 FY 2024-25.
In February 2026, Tata Power Renewable Energy Limited, a subsidiary of Tata Power Company Limited, commissioned a 198 MW wind project under the group captive model in Karur, Tamil Nadu. The project consists of 55 wind turbine generators, each with a capacity of 3.6 MW, and is expected to generate around 31 million units of clean electricity every year.
